Myla Villanueva is stepping down as chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting .“Myla is stepping down end of July… she’s leaving for abroad,” she said in an interview Monday, July 11.“We’re still in search of next chair… God is good. He’ll direct us to a good one,” she said.
“It was an honor and privilege to serve the most committed volunteers and citizens I will ever know. Its a different world from my tech and business spheres and I could not have done such a tough job well without an excellent Board of Trustees and guidance from so many, in a world that mixes volunteer needs at scale, political nonpartisanship, technology savvy, donor care, relating with the Church, facing media, and cooperating but challenging the Comelec.
Formed in October 1991, PPCRV is a parish-based association duly organized by and composed of civic minded citizens from various sectors.
