"I want to say enough is enough, no more violence," said Rosa Diaz, the widow of 37-year-old Jose Alberto Almonte, through an interpreter. "He was a great father, great son, great brother." The father of four was shot to death inside of the Jefferson Food Market on the corner of 29th and Jefferson streets, around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday night. He was shot in the neck while stocking shelves.
