“Les was a dedicated employee of FISD Transportation for 12 years. He was a good friend, outstanding co-worker, family man, father, brother and a true gentleman. He proudly served our country in the Armed Forces, where he received the Purple Heart during the Vietnam War. Les will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts, always. Thank you, Les, for your service to FISD, to your students and America. Rest in peace, dear friend. Route 60 is now 10-7, out of service.
In addition to the call for service, the buses turned on their lights and held a procession to honor their co-worker and friend.
