Vermont Democrat Rebecca White said she did not believe the decision to bar Mid Vermont Christian School from future sports tournaments was a 'bridge too far.'
Democratic State Senator Rebecca White of Vermont told CNN the athletes are ‘unlikely’ to go on to elite professional athletics.
White also said she felt"disappointment" with the adults who supported the decision to forfeit the game and suggested the school was"pushing back" on the state’s commitment to inclusivity. "We withdrew from the tournament because we believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players. Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports sets a bad precedent for the future of women’s sports in general," Fogg wrote in a statement to Fox News Digital in February.
