UTSA’s Frank Harris, Rashad Wisdom selected as Conference USA’s preseason players of the year

Harris, a senior from Clemens, set UTSA records with 3,177 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and a 66.1 percent completion rate last year. He also notched a new program record for quarterbacks by rushing for 566 yards, adding six touchdowns on the ground and another via reception. Wisdom on Tuesday was also named by the Football Writers Association of America to the preseason watchlist for the Bronco Nagurski award, recognizing the best defensive player in college football.
Entering his fourth year at UTSA, Maka has 37 career starts, earning second-team all-conference honors at center the past two seasons.
