Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, announces the opening of a new global business services center in Quezon City. This new center will integrate with a global network of over 1,600 colleagues across five existing shared service centers, operating as a central hub to deliver financial and customer services for its customers in the healthcare and biotech industries.
The new GBSC will expand Thermo Fisher’s presence in the Philippines, where over 1,400 team members are already engaged in clinical research and customer support. The center will initially employ 100 individuals, with plans to expand the workforce to over 450 colleagues by end-2026. Thermo Fisher has an expanding presence in the region, supporting customers through comprehensive solutions in areas such as biotech, healthcare, clean energy and environmental monitoring.
