The answer depends on whom you ask. “I’m not going to commit to a fastball offense for the sake of just running a fastball offense,” Holgorsen said. “I think that’s easy to defend. A lot of people do it, and a lot of people know how to do defend it. I think we have a plan of what we want to do offensively.”
The Cougars tried a faster pace early in the game, driving 70 yards in under two minutes before coming up empty on a missed field goal to end the first half. Down 26-7 to begin the fourth quarter, UH went up-tempo out of necessity. In the best stretch for the offense all season, Tune led three fourth-quarter touchdown drives, including a pair of touchdown passes to KeSean Carter inside the final two minutes as the Cougars stunned Memphis 33-32. .
