The University of the Philippines (UP) campuses in Quezon City and Manila announced on Thursday, Aug. 3 a shift to work-from-home for their university personnel due to incessant rains.
"Due to the anticipated heavy rains on the 3rd and 4th of August 2023, heads of UP Diliman units are authorized to adopt work-from-home arrangements for their personnel as the circumstances warrant and consistent with the exigencies of the service," UPD said.
However, UPD enjoined the University Health Service, UPD Police, Public Safety and Security Office, Special Services Brigade, and Campus Maintenance Office to deploy minimum numbers of needed onsite personnel.Photo credit to UPD "Due to inclement weather, work from home arrangement is in effect today, 3 August 2023, in UP Manila," UPM posted on its social media account.
