A United Airlines flight traveling from Guatemala was diverted to Houston Saturday evening due to some sort of medical and technical emergencies, an airport official said.

According to Flight Aware, the plane took off from La Aurora International in Guatemala City at 2:26 p.m. CST and arrived at Bush IAH’s Gate E20 at 5:39 p.m. “United Airlines Flight 2007 was diverted to IAH. It was diverted for a technical and a medical condition,” said Augusto Bernal, Director of Communications, Houston Airport System.We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
