The U.S. Defense Department says it has donated more than 300 Bradleys to Ukraine's war efforts on the eastern front.
New footage appears to show a Ukrainian-operated Bradley infantry fighting vehicle attacking a Russian armored personnel carrier filled with Russian soldiers in the heart of fighting in eastern Ukraine.The Bradley crew clashed with the Russian troops traveling in the APC—identified as a BTR-82A by open-source intelligence accounts—at 'close range' along the front lines close to the eastern Ukrainian city of Povrovsk, Ukraine's 47th Mechanized Brigade said in a statement.The U.S.
Even as Russian troops launched a new cross-border offensive into Kharkiv in early May, Ukraine reported heavy, and often intensified, attacks in the east.Clashes east of Povrovsk, a key city for Ukraine's defense in the area, are the 'epicenter' of fighting, the 47th Mechanized Brigade said late last week.Ukraine's military said in a statement at 10:30 a.m.
