PHNOM PENH, Cambodia—As many leaders expressed concern on global food security amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Ukraine has assured the world of a steady supply of wheat and grains to the market.

“If Russia does not withdraw from the green initiative brokered by the United Nations and Turkey, we will continue to export our grains and flower oil and corn to the global market,” he added. “We are also concerned with the severe and disruptive international economic ramifications of this ongoing conflict, particularly on global food and energy security and commodity supply chains,” he said.

Ukrain and Russia export about a quarter of the world’s wheat, according to the Observatory of Economic Complexity.
