UFL: Brahmas’ YouTube star Donald De La Haye issued a warning after fracturing his neck on a head-first tackle against Memphis.
Brahmas kicker Donald De La Haye, who rose to YouTube fame as ' Deestroying ,' revealed on Tuesday that he fractured his neck while making a head-first tackle in San Antonio 's 20-19 win over the Memphis Showboats last Saturday. 'Turns out on that tackle, due to bad form, I fractured my neck in a couple places,' De Le Haye said in a story posted to his Instagram account. 'Although this sucks, I’m grateful cause it could have been allll bad.
San Antonio Brahmas storm back for two TDs in final minute, rallying to beat Memphis Showboats De La Haye suffered the injury after launching himself at Memphis returner Trey Williams to force a stop early in the fourth quarter at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The 27-year-old former Central Florida specialist remained in the game and handled one more kickoff with three seconds remaining, which resulted in a kneel down.
