Uber Technologies on March 24 said it is partnering with New York City cab drivers. The ride-hailing app firm is teaming up with taxi software companies CMT and Curb, which will eventually make all of New York City cabs available on the Uber platform.

Uber on March 11 rolled out a temporary fuel surcharge given the rapid rise in gas prices. Customers outside New York City will pay either 45 cents or 55 cents on each trip while customers of its Eats food delivery service will pay 35 cents or 45 cents on each order depending on the location.
