Saying it needs to uphold the highest standards of integrity and accuracy in officiating basketball games, the three referees were suspended for three weeks.
The University Athletic Association of the Philippines Basketball Commissioner’s Office on Thursday, Oct. 12, lowered the boom on three erring referees.
UAAP Season 86 Basketball Commissioner Xavier Nunag emphasized the league’s unwavering commitment to providing competent and professional referees to the league. Nunag also assured fans, teams, and basketball community that they are doing their utmost best to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
