? The first will hit the auction block on October 12 in New York for the Fine Watches sale. This Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Paul Newman” Ref. 6239 is from 1965. However, the 6239 was in fact the first iteration of the Daytona to be released in 1963 and debuted the highly sought-after exotic cream dial. This particular variation was only produced in limited quantities and is expected to fetch up to a quarter million dollars at Bonhams’ upcoming sale.
