Political operative Sean Caddle of Hamburg, N.J., plead guilty in federal court to one count of conspiracy to commit murder for hire. The victim, who worked on several campaigns with Caddle, was stabbed to death and his apartment was set on fire in 2014.

Galdieri was stabbed to death and his apartment in Jersey City was set on fire in May 2014. Galdieri and Caddle worked together on several election campaigns. Caddle worked for former State Sen. Raymond Lesniak , who was in the Democratic leadership of the senate and ran for governor in 2017.
