The investigation reportedly revealed that a Ford F150 pulled into the path of a Hyundai Santa Fe. The Hyundai was unable to stop and struck the Ford, which was pushed forward into a CAT bus that was stopped at a stop sign on the opposite side of the intersection. The two occupants of the Hyundai reported minor injuries from the crash and were transported by ambulance for further medical treatment.
