TWO suspected communist terrorists were captured while another was reported wounded in a 30-minute exchange of gunfire with a combined team of Army soldiers, intelligence agents, and policemen Thursday in Barangay Magogon, Camalig, Albay.The firefight erupted as the law enforcers were responding to a report by a concerned citizen about the presence of a group of heavily armed men having entered their community.
Those arrested were identified as “Marsi/Masi”, 42, a construction worker with standing warrant of arrest for attempted murder and arson; and alias Ka Yeng, 44, farmer, also with an arrest warrant for murder.
