Reports surfaced Tuesday afternoon that NFL executives had been sent invitations to see former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick in a private workout this Saturday in Atlanta. A few hours afterwards, Kaepernick said he had just been informed of the workout.
Kaepernick, who hasn't played in the NFL since 2016, rolled out a tweet Tuesday night after multiple media outlets announced his workouts, including one of the first reports from"I'm just getting word from my representatives that the NFL league office reached out to them about a workout in Atlanta on Saturday. I've been in shape and ready for this for 3 years, can't wait to see the head coaches and GMs on Saturday," Kaepernick wrote.
