Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has become the first offensive player in team history to win multiple player of the week awards.
He wanted to make sure his teammates got their due and that he had already moved on to prepare for Dallas , which comes to Jacksonville on Sunday for only the second time ever and the first time since 2006 .
Lawrence completed 14 of 19 passes in the second half, including seven of eight during a surgical carving of the Tennessee defense on a scoring drive to open the third quarter, ending with his fourth touchdown run of the season. Engram, Christian Kirk and Zay Jones have all had 100-yard receiving games during that span and the Jaguars have been able to navigate a drop-off from the ground game, mostly because of a foot injury to Travis Etienne and an emphasis from defenses to stop him after he posted three consecutive 100-yard games earlier in the season.
