An Uhrichsville K9 caught a suspect hiding in a pile of laundry after a foot chase, police say.
UHRICHSVILLE, Ohio - The officer, Liz Cottrell, says she recognized the man and knew there were warrants out for his arrest.
Police say Captain Hickman was en-route with K9 Onyx to the traffic stop and observed the suspect on N. Uhrich Street attempting to conceal his identity.Police say officer Cottrell spotted a second person with active warrants running to a residence near the traffic stop. Captain Hickman an Onyx responded, police say, responding to the apartment the suspect entered and gaining permission to enter.Police say one of the people, identified as Terria Gray, was found to have warrants and was arrested.
Onyx was deployed into the bedroom and located the suspect, Rebecca Borton, hiding under a pile of clothing, officers say.Copyright 2024 WOIO. All rights reserved.
