Turkey has dismissed three central bank monetary policy committee members, appointing two new members in their place, a presidential decree says

According to a presidential decree, Taha Cakmak has been appointed as the new deputy governor of the bank while Yusuf Tuna was appointed as a member of the committee. The development comes after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Central Bank Governor Sahap Kavcioglu met late on Wednesday in the capital Ankara. to a record low of 9.1900 against the dollar following the announcement, a loss of 1 percent on the day.
