President Trump said Martha MacCallum asked former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Eric Swalwell 'endless softball questions' about the upcoming Mueller hearing.
President Donald Trump took a swipe at Fox News on Tuesday evening, particularly at Martha MacCallum, host ofIn a tweet while the show was still on air, the president said the cable news station was being quite lenient on California Rep. Eric Swalwell, a former 2020 Democratic presidential nominee. Trump called MacCallum's inquiries to Swalwell"softball questions" about the Mueller investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump 2016 campaign.
"Just watched Rep. Eric Swalwell be asked endless softball questions by @marthamaccallum on @FoxNews about the phony Witch Hunt. He was just forced out of the Democrat Presidential Primary because he polled at ZERO," Trump tweeted. "Fox sure ain't what it used to be.
