President Donald Trump on Sunday morning went on a rapid-fire tirade on Twitter against Ed Henry of Fox News.
In a series of tweets and re-tweets — 23 in 23 minutes — Trump expressed his displeasure with Henry over his interview with conservative radio host Mark Levin on “Fox & Friends” that deal with Trump’s current Ukraine scandal. About an hour later, he added one more, a direct link to Levin’s appearance.At one point, Henry asked Levin if he thought the president had broken the law. “What crime was violated?” Levin said. “It’s not illegal. The question is whether Biden did something illegal.
Trump interjected his own opinions — at one point, he stated “So great Mark!” with a link to Mediaite’s coverage of the interview — but mostly relied on re-tweets. Several of the tweets that he picked up suggested Henry belonged on CNN instead of Fox News. The oddest was a re-tweet of a Twitter user named Trump But About Sharks that claims as its mission: “Trump apparently hates sharks, so this bot does some word replacement on his tweets to make them about sharks.“ In that spirit, that tweet referred to “the pro-shark media.”
