George Conway, a conservative lawyer and frequent Trump critic, escalated a growing feud this week when he tweeted that the president was a pathological narcissist.
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough weighed in on Donald Trump’s recent attacks on George Conway, husband of counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway, saying that the president was “humiliating himself” by lashing out at a man who’s “his intellectual and moral superior.”
"He left it alone for months out of respect for me," Conway explained."But you think he shouldn’t respond when somebody, a nonmedical professional, accuses him of having a mental disorder? You think he should just take that sitting down?" Scarborough responded to Lewis’ tweet by pointing out that Trump was merely “trying” to emasculate Conway's husband and argued that George Conway will always come out on top.
Conway, seemingly undeterred, responded by doubling down on his criticisms of the president, tweeting “You. Are. Nuts.” He then added:"You seem determined to prove my point. Good for you! #NarcissisticPersonalityDisorder."
