After visiting Ohio, he lashed out against Sen.who had been critical of his volatile rhetoric. “Their news conference after I left for El Paso was a fraud,” he, falsely accusing them of saying he’d been poorly received during his visit.
That his characterization of the rallies is false—O’Rourke’s counter-rally reportedly drew as many or more attendees than Trump’s—is beside the point. It was, as HabermanWednesday, typical Trump bluster at a time when the nation is looking for someone to lead.
