We caught up with Troye ahead of his campaign launch to talk about all things beauty, skin, makeup, and YSL:

Now, Troye is joining an arsenal of iconic faces at YSL Beauty as the brand’s newest U.S. Ambassador.full range of luxury products, including the brand’s latest collection called Nu. Just in time for Pride Month, the star’s creative looks seek to show what’s possible when it comes to self-expression with makeup.
We caught up with Troye ahead of his campaign launch to talk about all things beauty, skin, makeup, and YSL.It's actually kind of a little traumatic. When I was a little kid I would put on my mom's makeup or my mom's shoes and stuff like that. And this was before the world had like, tainted my relationship with my femininity. It’s taken a lot to work to get that back. But I remember just feeling so good and having so much fun with it.
TV: As a creator in the early days of YouTube, how did being a part of that space impact your relationship with beauty? YouTube in the 2010s was all about beauty, I feel like we all really learned how to do our makeup on YouTube.I’ve always loved watching people do makeup. I have such fond memories of like, before a house party, all of my friends were all girls, so I would be 100% ready for the party three hours early.
