Troy linebacker Carlton Martial becomes the FBS all-time leader in tackles during the Trojans' win over Army.
Army missed a field goal with 15 seconds left and Troy held on for a 10-9 victory at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Troy won for the seventh straight time overall after rallying from down 9-0 at halftime. The Trojans made it 9-3 on Brooks Buce’s 21-yard field goal in the third quarter, then scored the go-ahead touchdown midway through the fourth. Both teams punted on their next possessions, the second giving Army the ball on its 28 with 2:10 left. The Knights drove to the Troy 25, but Quinn Maretzki hit the right upright with a 42-yard attempt and the Trojans survived after kneeling on the next play.
