THE low pressure area that is in the boundary but still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility may enter the country but has a less chance to develop into a tropical depression.This is according to weather specialist Obet Padrina of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration who told The Manila Times that its trough is affecting many areas in Visayas and Mindanao, as well as Palawan.
In fact, it has a bigger chance of dissipating in [the] coming days,' Badrina said.The state-run weather agency said Metro Manila, Calabarzon , Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Bicol Region may experience cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon locally known as 'amihan'.Amihan is also affecting the rest of Luzon which may likely have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains, Pagasa said.
