Tropical Storm Paeng , the Philippines’ 16th tropical cyclone for 2022, is threatening much of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao just as the country heads into a long weekend to mark All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
Paeng is expected to intensify into a severe tropical storm as it approaches Southern Luzon and Central Luzon. It could make its first landfall in Catanduanes on Saturday, October 29, and its second landfall in Quezon or Aurora on Sunday, October 30. But even before it hits Luzon, Paeng is already dumping rain in the Visayas and Mindanao.
