Meralco coach Luigi Trillo has no doubt, that Gilas interim mentor Tim Cone will do well in his second Asian Games stint.
Having served as one of Cone's assistants during their time together at Alaska from 2000 through 2011 and winning four PBA titles during that stretch, Trillo understands how his former mentor thinks.'If there is one thing Tim learned in the Asian Games when he coached them to a bronze the last time , I remember we played China and lost close, then we played Korea and totally different styles and pace,' Trillo told the Manila Times.
'I think those two are really good to have because they are both game changers. I did handle both of them before,' said Trillo, who drafted Abueva in 2012 and eventually, they won the Commissioner's Cup title in the 2013 season.Romeo on the other hand, played under Trillo during their time with Cebuanna Lhuillier in the PBA D-League in 2011.'Calvin obviously, he brings so much energy and toughness. He can change a game just by those two qualities. He can defend rebound and run.
