Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV dismissed as mere “propaganda” and “fake news” the red-tagging efforts on Vice President Leni Robredo, his presidential candidate for the May 2022 polls.
Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Monday, March 14, dismissed as mere “propaganda” and “fake news” the red-tagging efforts on Vice President Leni Robredo, his presidential candidate for the May 2022 polls.Trillanes, who is aiming to return to the Senate, said Robredo’s detractors are using the communist tag because they can’t find any negative issue to throw at her.
The former senator was with the Vice President in Malolos City, where BulacanGovernor Daniel Fernando and his local allies endorsed Robredo’s candidacy for the upcoming polls. The allegations came in the wake of the claims made by Cavite Rep. Crispin Remulla who said some of the attendees in Robredo’s campaign rally in General Trias recently were members of the communist movement.
