The gunman fled after the shooting aboard a motorcycle and left Garcia dead on the spot.
Mara was taken to Lucena MMG hospital but also died, Police Corporal Eduardo Nartea Jr., case investigator said in a phone interview. “The gunman was apparently waiting for his target to pass by as it was his daily routine,” Nartea said.
