The NFL season kicked off Thursday with a playoff rematch between the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Baltimore Ravens. The game was a nail-biter, with the Chiefs narrowly defeating the Ravens. TODAY’s Craig Melvin reports from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
Jason Kelce made his big TV debut on “Monday Night Football” and it included one minor fumble. The retired Philadelphia Eagles center officially made his appearance as a NFL analyst on ESPN's “Monday Night Countdown,” the pregame show for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” on Sept. 9. During the intros, anchor Scott Van Pelt introduced analysts Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark, as well as Kelce, noting his first-day outfit.
In another post, however, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end did praise his big brother. “What a natural!!” he wrote, reposting their “New Heights” podcast’s tweet with a screenshot of Jason Kelce on TV. Travis Kelce previously called out his brother on his fashion choices when Jason Kelce wore a T-shirt, shorts and flip flops to the premiere of the “Kelce” documentary. “I was gonna have jeans on but Kylie ...” Jason Kelce said, mentioning his wife, Kylie Kelce.
