The Senior Research Administration Associate will oversee the GSBS Training Grant & Fellowship Office regarding directing, assessing and improving the functions of the TGFO in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, with the goal of increasing training grant and fellowship submissions, and ultimately training grant awards across the College.
Manages data resources that support T32 training grant applications, and assesses quality of data collection and input by other GSBS offices.Develops and leads educational workshops, and offers individual consultations for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows on individual fellowship opportunities and skills pertaining to proposal preparation.Manages and analyzes data for trainee outcomes, prepares reports for GSBS leadership and accreditation requirements.
Researches training grant application/progress report requirements, as well as updated and new training grant policies. Compiles and creates education and research resources to demonstrate compliance with NIH requirements for training programs. Identifies fellowship opportunities and other educational grant opportunities from the NIH and other foundations and distributes information to potential applicants.Bachelor's degree. Certified Research Administrator certification through the Research Administrators Certification Council may substitute for the degree requirement.
