Trader Joe's announced a recall of its 10-ounce packages of multigrain crackers due to metal contamination.
Trader Joe's has recalled its Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds due to possible metal contamination.The grocery store chainof its Trader Joe's Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds on Aug. 17, after it said it was alerted by its supplier that the product "may contain metal."
The affected 10-ounce packages of vegan crackers have the SKU# 76156 with "Best If Used By" dates of March 1, 2024, to March 5, 2024. As of time of publication, no injuries have been reported in connection with the recall. Trader Joe's said that "all potentially affected product has been removed from sale and destroyed."
"If you purchased or received any donations of Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds, please do not eat them," the company said in its recall statement. "We urge you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund."
