TikTok moderators are claiming 'PTSD' over clips: rape, mass murder alleged
Now, she’s suing the social media company for neglect,, alleging that it ignored the mental well-being of its moderators, who watched “thousands of acts of extreme and graphic violence” on the job.
TikTok has not responded to The Post’s request for comment. But spokesperson Hilary McQuaide said in a statement to the Verge: “Our Safety team partners with third party firms on the critical work of helping to protect the TikTok platform and community, and we continue to expand on a range of wellness services so that moderators feel supported mentally and emotionally.”
