According to the National Golf Foundation, there were seven million female on-course golfers in 2023, a 25% increase since 2019.“Hosting this championship in the PGA of America’s backyard, amid the rising momentum of women’s sports, highlights our commitment to community and inclusivity in golf,” 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship director Jason Mengel said in a news release.
