The National Weather Service has most of central Pa. under a hazardous weather outlook, but few watches and warnings had been issued Friday evening.
Thunderstorm and flood warnings have been issued to parts of York County, according to the National Weather Service.
The thunderstorm warning includes York, Red Lion, Spry, Dallastown, Stonybrook-Wilshire, Ryler Run-Queens Gate, Hallam, Wrightsville, Yorklyn, Windsor and Yoe, according to the NWS. The warning is in effect until 8:45 p.m. The storm has 60 mph wind gusts and penny-sized hail, the NWS warned. Damage is expected to roofs, siding and trees.The flood warning is in effect until 10 p.m., and includes small stream flooding in all the locations under the thunderstorm warning, plus Parkville, Shiloh, Shrewsbury, Codorus, Grantley, Valley View, Spring Grove, Stewartstown, Glen Rock, and Jacobus.
The NWS says excessive rainfall is expected, causing minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Read more on PennLive:
