Three people were killed and two were wounded Sunday night in a shooting on the University of Virginia grounds.
A Sunday night shooting “resulted in three fatalities; two additional victims were injured and are receiving medical care,” UVA President Jim Ryan wrote in a letter to the university community posted on social media.“This is a message any leader hopes never to have to send, and I am devastated that this violence has visited the University of Virginia,” Ryan wrote.

He may be driving a black SUV with a Virginia tag and should be considered armed and dangerous.Multiple law enforcement agencies are looking for the suspect. The Virginia State Police are using a helicopter to search for the suspect, according to a tweet from UVA Emergency Management.
