Federal agents closed a cocaine pipeline to Cleveland following the arrests of three men linked to the Mexican drug trade, authorities said.

Mahoney’s attorney, William Livingston, declined to comment. Attempts to reach other attorneys in the case were unsuccessful. A DEA affidavit filed in federal court indicated that Mahoney was referring to 35 kilograms of cocaine when he discussed the loss of books. Mahoney claimed the safe also contained about $100,000 in cash, which was also stolen, the affidavit shows.
