The number of qualified bidders for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) operations has been reduced to three from four. The Manila International Airport Consortium, GMR Airports Consortium, and SMC-SAP & Company Consortium are the remaining compliant bidders.
The race to bag the operations of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport ( NAIA ) advanced significantly on Thursday after the number of qualified bidders were trimmed to three from an initial four. The Department of Transportation's Pre-qualification Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) announced that it determined only three bidders as compliant to the terms of reference of the project.
The three compliant bidders are the Manila International Airport Consortium, GMR Airports Consortium, and SMC-SAP & Company Consortium. The Lucio Co-led Asian Airport Consortium was out of the race
