The Paradise Grills First Generation Outdoor Kitchens were sold nationwide from January 2009 through December 2020.
has recalled 18,000 outdoor kitchens in 16 models because a build-up of liquid propane can accumulate in the cabinet that can cause an explosion.
The company said it has received two reports of the grills exploding “causing severe burns to the consumers.” The recalled models are GX-3, GX-4, GX-5, GX-6, GX-7, GX-8, GX-9, GX-10, GX-11, GX12 and GX14, Tahiti, Fiji, Tropicana, Aruba 6 and Aruba 8. The models can have cabinets, sinks, refrigerators, LED lighting, tiki huts, commercial grills and other options.
