This will be a weekly article series throughout the season looking back on what happened for the Seattle Seahawks 40, 30, 20, and 10 years ago this week. Just like last week’s edition, there’s a win in 1984 and the rest are losses. One of them to stupid Jeff Fisher and his dumb Rams. The 1994 team had a bye so we escaped a potential loss there! Game Log Last week, the 1984 Seahawks narrowly escaped with a victory against a winless Buffalo Bills team.
Vinatieri came right back with a 39-yard FG to put NE back ahead by 3 scores at 20-3. Brown pulled the Seahawks within 2 TDs before halftime with a 40-yard FG to make the score 20-6. Brown hit another FG in the 3rd Quarter, a 28-yarder, to bring Seattle a little closer at 20-9. Then, Shaun Alexander scored on a 9-yard rushing TD early in the 4th Quarter and Seattle was successful on the 2-point conversion. Suddenly, it was a 3-point game at 20-17.
