An annual survey from J.D. Power ranked Philadelphia International Airport as the worst large airport in all of North America.

The data analytics company released its annual list Wednesday that surveyed 27,000 people in the U.S. and Canada between August 2022 and July 2023 and rated their satisfaction in six categories, such as rankings in terminal facilities; arrival and departure; baggage claim; security check; baggage check; and food, beverage and retail. Airports receive scores that use an index of up to 1,000 points.
For what it’s worth, the score is a step up from last year, which was 729, but it’s below 2021′s score of 758. Since PHL is in the large-airport category, this includes airports that see at least 10 to 32.9 million passengers each year, theTo Michael Taylor, who is the senior managing director of travel, hospitality, retail and customer service at J.D. Power, PHL needs to work on some things.
