It's the best part of being a mom." After sharing her creation on Twitter, it immediately went viral, with parents getting choked up at her idea. Ever since posting two sweet photos of Gus in his shirt on Aug. 19, her tweet has amassed more than 214,000 likes and roughly 34,000 retweets.Although there's no denying the shirt is a brilliant idea, Carina took it a step further by making Gus a journal she plans to give to him when he graduates high school.
"I started it his first year of school, along with the shirt, where I share stories, memories, and hardships we've overcome. He'll be able to read it after his graduation," she explained."I was a teen mom, and my son has been my drive for all my accomplishments. I want him to see how much of a blessing he's been to me."
