In New York, Milan, Paris, London, Moscow, Shanghai, and Tokyo, Prada has partnered with local florists to create custom bouquets.
. Shown at Prada’s New York headquarters, the Resort show was a stripping back of all the fantasy and philosophy that can come from a Prada spectacle, with clothing made in humble cottons and workwear canvases. One of the few motifs in the entire collection was that of wildflowers, embroidered on the sleeves and yokes of folkloric blouses. Now, Prada is continuing its celebration of all things floral with the introduction of seven new flower shop-in-shops around the world.
In New York, the bouquets will be available at Bethel Food Gourmet in the West Village—and as with any bit of luxury fashion, they will be exclusive and specially made. You see, not just any floral arrangement is Prada-worthy: In keeping with the palette and pared-back theme of the Resort collection, Prada is offering special flowers for its bouquets.
