If you wait long enough, you’ll see him blink in a truly creepy way.But apparently Calico is haunted enough for the town to warrant having its very own Paranormal Investigation Society. Inside the barbershop, I meet the society’s vice president and treasurer. I spend a lot of time in haunted places“How does the society work?” I ask. “Do the ghosts pay you?”
The idea is that you go to each of those characters and have a conversation. If you know what to ask, they’ll bring you into their story line, giving you a piece of information to relay to another character, or something to deliver. That next person, in turn, will send you somewhere else. You’re getting clues, interacting with the actors, solving mysteries and experiencing a theme park in a truly different way.Think of “Ghost Town Alive!” like a Choose Your Own Adventure novel.
