Florida Teen Has “Surreal” Experience of Being Accepted Into Every Single Ivy League College
Talk about impressive — Ashley Adirika will get to choose from any Ivy League school that she wants to attend.
The Florida teen opened up her laptop on Ivy Day and was greeted with not one, not two, but eight acceptances to Ivy League colleges. Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Yale accepted her applications as well as seven other schools including Stanford, Emory, and Vanderbilt.
Ashley is the daughter of a single mother who emigrated from Nigeria as well as one of five kids, and was surrounded by family when the acceptances rolled in. “The tears just started to come out. Like they started to flow out. My siblings and I were just really excited, like screaming, jumping around. It was crazy,” she told.
