Earth, Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers & Chic and Taylor Dayne were among the stars at the annual event, which was founded nearly three decades ago as a fundraiser for local charities and counted Muhammad Ali as one of its ardent supporters. The event's longtime musical director, Grammy-winning producer David Foster, hosted and emceed the evening at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa.
The live entertainment, dinner and auction with"coveted, one-of-a-kind luxury items" aimed to"deliver a knockout blow to cancer," according to a press release.
